 Poor Quality February 5, 2010

When I turned it on, I could not believe the poor picture. It was not HD (I do have a HD receiver) The picture was dark. Thr picture resembled an old CRT. My 2 neghbors looked at it and almost laughed at me for buying it.
I immediately called Amazon. They were great. I was sent a return label. I received return of my purchase price.
I bought a Panasonic and am very happy.

Great TV that fits in well with white kitchen appliances or with antique white bedroom furniture. Picture is Samsung superior quality. Handling and shipping by Amazon was excellent. Received item much earlier than expected.
19" Samsung TV - great picture, sound quality could be better January 30, 2010

The picture on this white 19" Samsung LN19B361 760p LCD HDTV is fantastic. There is a delay before the picture can be seen when TV is turned on. The sound quality reminds me of talking through a tin can. I have adjusted all sound options but nothing helped. I also have a 26" Samsung that sounds just fine. Amazon sold this item for less than I could find anywhere else. I'm very pleased.

We returned this product because the screen was way smaller than it appears on the advertisement. The screen looks like a monitor. I wouldn't recommend purchasing the items unless you are looking for a screen smaller than 19 inches.

I bought this to replace a smaller Sony which we had above the refrigerator and to take advantage of HD satelitte feed.
The picture is very good although it suffers from typical LCD picture disadvantage that the picture is not great if viewing from wide angle on the side.
I solved that problem by putting the TV on a "lazy susan" turntable so my wife can easily rotate to best viewing position whether working at the sink, family viewing from our eat at counter or from kitchen dining table.
I also have a DVD player plugged into the unit and it shows movies very well.
I did some research and many of the white LCD units got poor ratings on sound.
This unit has very adequate sound an can be played fairly loud without distortion.
The remote is easy to use although it's shape prevents you from storing in a vertical position to save space like the only Sony remote.
The only negative I found was that the base was not level and the base could be a little more substantial. I had to add some felt padding to the base to level up the TV screen as it tilted slightly to the right. Minor issue easily corrected.
I would recommend this Samsung for purchase to others.
